History :
After the finished change to Fiat G.91 the JaboG 35 was renamed to LeKG 41.
The new role of the Wing was splitted in tactical reconaissance and close-air support.

With the change to the Alpha Jet in 1980 the Wing was again reorganized and now the designation changed to JaboG 41.
Shortly before the introduction of the Alpha Jet, on 01.10.1980 the LeKG 41 was renamed as JaboG 41.
In Januar 1980 landed the first Alpha Jet and already on the 11.02.1982 the last Fiat G.91 left Husum AFB.

In 1983 the Wing was combat-ready again and assigned to the NATO.

But the changed situation after the German Reunification and the cut-downs in Defence Budget made it necessary to deactivate this Wing in March 1993.
